South Dakota Lottery Plans to Add Lucky for Life

PIERRE — Later this month the South Dakota Lottery Commission holds a rules hearing on offering a fifth lotto game. This one is called Lucky For Life and it’s already in play in more than one dozen other states.

The meeting is Friday, March 24, in Pierre, with the hearing at 10 a.m. CT in the Capitol, room 412. The hearing notice and proposed rules are available at on the Internet.

Norm Lingle, the lottery’s executive director, presented a summary to commission members at their Dec. 2 meeting.
