Turkey’s Milli Piyango Administration blocked access to the U.S.-based prediction market platform Polymarket, citing alleged illegal betting, according to Gazete Oksijen.
The report said the restriction was imposed under the administration’s decision No. 2026/10 dated July 16, 2026. Polymarket lets users wager on the outcomes of elections, sporting events and other current events, creating a form of prediction market.
