The Hoosier Lottery has added Walgreens to its retail network, with tickets now sold at nearly all of the chain’s Indiana stores, the lottery announced Oct. 8.
The agreement is Walgreens’ first partnership with a state lottery, according to the announcement. Participating stores offer draw games, Scratch-offs and Fast Play games, with availability varying by location.
Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah M. Taylor said the expansion broadens the lottery’s reach across Indiana and gives players another place to buy tickets during routine shopping trips. The lottery also said the partnership could lead to store events and promotions.
