A bill legalizing online sales of New Jersey Lottery tickets — co-sponsored by Sen. Jim Whelan, Atlantic, and Assemblyman John Burzichelli, of Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem — quietly went through the Legislature right before Christmas and was signed into law by Gov. Chris Christie two weeks ago.
