CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seven Ohio residents have reportedly won the state lottery more than 100 times in the last three years.
WEWS did an analysis of an Ohio lottery database, which showed that a man won the lottery 150 times since the beginning of 2014. His winnings earned him more than $154,000.
Another man won more than $583,000 from 142 lottery games since the beginning of 2014.
“If you’re asking me about the odds of that occurring, it would probably be considered an outlier,” Ohio Lottery security deputy director Jack O’Donnell said.
Each of the seven residents won more than $100,000 in the lottery.
A majority of those winners are in northeast Ohio.
When contacted, they either did not want to be interviewed or could not be reached.
