The state gaming license of the Connecticut Lottery Corp.’s chief operating officer, Michael J. Hunter, was suspended in February for two weeks in connection with the 5 Card Cash fraud scandal that refuses to go away, public documents show.
Hunter—whose $191,000 salary last year was 27 percent higher than the governor’s—signed a “consent decree” Feb. 21 accepting the Department of Consumer Protection’s suspension of his license, but not admitting wrongdoing.
