Alchemy3, LLC and StubHub are joining forces so that lottery players can gain access to their favorite music, sports, theatre and other live entertainment venues across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to cash, lotteries will now be able to offer StubHub gift cards allowing winners to design their own “BIG TICKET” prize packs.

“Over the years we’ve learned that when it comes to non-cash prizes, lottery players are most receptive to rewards that they can customize,” said Paul Guziel, CEO, Alchemy3. “Since StubHub is the world’s largest ticket marketplace, there is quite a broad base of entertainment options for lottery players to choose from.”

As lotteries offer their core products as an “entertainment” option, they continue to align with other entertainment entities to reinforce their position in the marketplace.

“Our clients have asked us to bring forward brands that support their core messaging—that playing the lottery is fun and entertaining. StubHub is a great partner to help reinforce such messaging,” Guziel noted. Alchemy3 is currently designing programs to launch the first StubHub Big Ticket! Game in 2018.

StubHub’s business partners include more than 60 teams in MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS and NCAA, AEG, AXS and Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement. With the acquisition of Ticketbis in August 2016, throughout the world, StubHub provides the total end-to-end event going experience. StubHub is an eBay company.

At StubHub, the firm’s mission is simple: help fans find fun. StubHub connects fans with their favorite teams, shows and artists and introduce them to the ones they’ll love next. As the largest ticket marketplace in the world, StubHub enables fans to buy and sell tickets to tens of thousands of events, whenever they want, through the firm’s desktop and mobile experiences, including the StubHub app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android. Offering a superior fan experience at its core, StubHub reinvented the ticket resale market in 2000 and continues to lead it through innovation. StubHub’s industry firsts include the introduction of the first ticketing application, the first interactive seat mapping tool and the first live entertainment rewards program, Fan Rewards™.
