Two years ago, the New Hampshire Lottery was allowed to begin selling Keno and selling online. This year, Gov. Chris Sununu has proposed sports betting, estimating it would add $10 million to revenue over the long run. The lottery would oversee it, undertaking a competitive bidding process to pick the sports betting locations. Cities and towns would have to authorize to allow sports betting, in a similar process to how they had to vote to allow for Keno. The proposal does allow for internet wagering, but in the wake of the recent Wire Act opinion reversal, is it unclear how quickly that would happen.
