There is a bill in the Georgia House of Representatives that would allow the lottery to print a ticket where the profits would go exclusively to help homeless Veterans. Sandra Scott, District 76, proposed the bill. If successful, the Governor would be able to use the funds generated from the game to make budget recommendations on how to tackle homelessness for this population. The bill would be heard sometime in March.
The Texas Lottery, along with other lotteries, have specific tickets where profits are earmarked to assist veterans.
