The DOJ appears to be doubling down on its decision in January to keep all forms of internet gaming illegal. On March 22nd, the department and Attorney General filed their response to the New Hampshire Lottery lawsuit seeking for it to be dismissed. While this is standard procedure, it does indicate that Barr will not be backing down from the OLC’s opinion, and states could be in for a long legal battle.
