My cats want to move to Arizona. There was a lot of yowling when they hard about the “Spoil Your Pet Drawing.” The Arizona Lottery is celebrating National Love Your Pet Day on February 20th. Lets start handing out those Greenies treat … meow.
For the humans, Arizona Lottery is also handing out some sweet treats. Virtual Valentine’s Date Night – Prize packs worth $250 with items like Paint at Home kits, movie projectors and picnic blankets, e-gift cards for food deliveries, flowers, and more are planned.
“For the month of February, we are celebrating Arizona’s birthday, and therefore, Arizona draw games! All AZ Draw Games tickets of $10 or more will be given 50 extra points in our Players Club from February 1 – February 14 (Valentine’s day, but also Arizona’s birthday),” said Shelby Alessi, Arizona Lottery Marketing Manager, Arizona Lottery.
The lottery will also have draw game coupons available for download in its Players Club to promote its state games. “This will be accompanied by an Arizona Cascades free play game, and an I Love AZ ‘survey’ where players will earn points for telling us their favorite things about Arizona,” said Alessi.
The Delaware Lottery also will celebrate Valentine’s Day with some sweet deals on Collect N Win and social media. The lottery hosts themed Facebook Live events each month with a theme dressed host—45th Anniversary, Thanksgiving, Holiday, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Spring.
“We’ve used a variety of ways to win—spin the wheel, punch board, trivia, treasure hunt/answer texting, guess the number of ornaments/answer texting, numbered balloons. We’ve also used a variety of prizes and prize amounts—cash, gift cards (restaurants & stores), prize packs, lottery coupons and instant tickets,” said Barbara Miller, Assistant Director, Traditional Games, Delaware Lottery.
Miscellaneous Draw Games will get the sweetheart treatment for Missouri Lottery for two holiday promotions. The lottery will run “Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day One-Day promotions (February and March) with minimal POS, but heavy electronic communication – email, social media, terminal messaging (RF),” said Wendy Baker, Communications Manager, Missouri Lottery.
All three monthly Facebook livestreams will focus on specific games. “January was Scratchers ($30 “300X”), February is both Scratchers (Show Me family of games) and Draw Games (Lotto, Show Me Cash), and March is Scratchers ($5 “Wheel of Fortune”). We always support our monthly Scratchers game launch, MO Money Monday, with a contest to award $300 worth of the new games. Support also occurs in the form of winner awareness with social posts promoting big winners, sharing ticket imagery/logo and news releases,” added Baker.
