Pennsylvania Lottery Mascot Gus the Groundhog is out on the links golfing and dreamin’. Lottery POS features the smiling groundhog and the slogan—“Tee it up to luck!”
Gus is promoting the lottery’s new $10 scratch-off $1,000 Dreamin’. The game launched on May 18.
“This $1,000-themed game offers five top prizes of $500,000 and over $35 million in $1,000 prizes – the most we have ever had in any of our $1,000-themed games to date,” explained Kara Sparks, Director of Products, Pennsylvania Lottery. “Featuring bright, cheery artwork, $1,000 Dreamin’ features several ways to win $1,000, including two ways in the main play area and two DREAMIN’ OF $1,000 bonus spots! Is there a better way to start the summer than by dreaming of winning one of the thousands of $1,000 prizes? We can’t think of one.”
Pennsylvania Lottery’s social media strategy features organic posts and paid social. “For organic posts to our own pages we will continue what we do on a regular basis and promote new game releases and feature games for Scratch-Offs. For Draw Games we promote high jackpots. Across all products we promote big wins which are very popular posts that get a lot of engagement. On paid social, we will promote our featured Scratch-Off game on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat,” said Kelly Cortez, Director of Marketing, Pennsylvania Lottery.
