The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) launched Cash Pop, its new one-digit game. The new draw game is supported by an electrifying advertising campaign. The slogan: “The Light of the Party.”
“Cash Pop is not a new game to the market, but here in South Carolina, we are putting a new spin on how we market the game,” said Josh Whiteside, Director, Marketing, SCEL. “This game is extremely simple, so without a large need to explain the game, we have taken a lifestyle approach to how we advertise Cash Pop.” The commercials are shot at night, with a color rush of pinks and blues.
Currently, the game is drawn two times a day. Drawings are held every day at 12:59 p.m. and 6:59 p.m., just like Pick 3 and Pick 4. And most prizes can be cashed at your local lottery retailer.
A Cash Pop wager starts at a $1 or players can spend up to $2, $5 or $10 per number played. To bet, players choose one or more POPs (numbers) from 1 to 15. If your POPs match the one number drawn by the Lottery, then you win the prize shown on your ticket.
A player can win from 5X all the way up to 250X your wager. This is a possible $250, $500, $1,250 or $2,500 top prize. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 15. And you can play all 15 POPs to guarantee a win
