In his La Fleur’s Magazine interview about FY23 developments, Drew Svitko, Executive Director of Pennsylvania Lottery, spotlighted major retail initiatives, including the retailer incentive program, SciQ, and on-premises retailer recruitment.
“This year will live up to our theme of ‘Retailer Optimization and Modernization’ using our Retailer Incentive Program and Best Practices incentives to increase sales, along with the new vending technology. It’s an important aspect of retailer optimization,” stressed Svitko.
“Our equipment modernization plan will continue this fiscal year with our new 40-bin and 24-bin PHD with [Scientific Games’] SciQ technology. This new system’s current and future benefits include one-touch ease of loading for the retailer, real-time alerts to the retailer alerting of empty bins, suggested loading of Scratch-Off games, and more,” he continued.
“Finally, in the face of competition, we will continue to pitch our Monitor Games at on-premises locations, such as taverns and civic clubs. We will also continue to conduct promotional events at new locations to build the Keno and Xpress Sports brand,” ended Svitko.
The lottery plans to launch a new football-themed monitor game in FY23, which will be added to its Xpress Sports family of games.
