In his La Fleur’s Magazine interview about FY23 developments, Pat McDonald, Executive Director of the Ohio Lottery talked about higher price point instants, new product launches, and retail initiatives.
“I’m excited that 2023 will bring our first ever $50 scratch-off game, Billions. We’ll be executing a large-scale marketing campaign to support this new game with a second-chance promotion and extra in-retail signage and media offering to hype this exciting,” said McDonald.
“We are extending our Holiday Scratch-Offs sales by offering an interactive, decision-based second-chance promotion that runs through mid-February. We’re enhancing the retail experience by optimizing the placement and operation of self-service kiosks. Additionally, we continue to make headway with a major Ohio-based retail chain and will continue to recruit new businesses,” he added.

For its draw game portfolio, McDonald noted that “we’re continually adding new games to our EZPLAY line including omni-channel games and look forward to possible enhancements to our in-state jackpot games.”
