The board of Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte has unanimously appointed Loïc Hoscheit to succeed Léon Losch as director of Luxembourg’s Loterie Nationale. The appointment was made on September 30, 2026, and announced on October 1. Hoscheit will join the lottery on February 15, 2027, for a transition period before taking charge at the end of 2027, when Losch retires.
Hoscheit has directed Luxembourg’s sports integrity agency, ALIS, since October 2023. He previously worked at Amaury Sport Organisation and led sports betting trading at Winamax. When he takes over the lottery, he will also join the Œuvre’s management alongside the director responsible for its philanthropic missions. Losch will retire after 33 years with the lottery, including 27 as director.
