BCLC has launched a new $5 Scratch & Win ticket called The Big Spin, featuring top prizes up to $500,000 and a multi-stage prize reveal mechanic. Players scratch the ticket for either an instant prize, ranging from free tickets or cash up to $10,000, or a “spin” outcome. If a “spin” prize is revealed, players can check the ticket at a lottery retailer or in the BCLC Lottery App to view an animated spin wheel that reveals their prize.
Each animated spin results in a guaranteed win, awarding either a cash prize or the “Big Spin.” If the animated wheel lands on “Big Spin,” the player earns the opportunity to spin a physical Big Spin Wheel live at BCLC’s Vancouver office for a guaranteed prize between $100,000 and $500,000. “We’re thrilled to launch The Big Spin, a ticket that offers players a truly unique experience,” said Dan Beebe, BCLC Chief Operating Officer. “Our players have shared that they’re interested in more experiential games, and to be able to deliver a new game that delivers a gameshow-style experience will surely bring added excitement and immersion, while creating memorable moments that go beyond traditional instant ticket gameplay.”
