LAS VEGAS and ATLANTA – March 27, 2017 – Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) (“Scientific Games” or the “Company”) today announced that the Arizona Lottery (“the Lottery”) has extended its instant games contract for an additional year with Scientific Games, the world’s leading supplier of lottery instant games. Building on its 36-year relationship with the Lottery, the Company will continue to offer innovative products for Arizona players, including holographic and Scratch My Back® games. Most recently, the Arizona Lottery collaborated with Scientific Games to launch its first $30 instant game, Ultimate Millions.

Gregg Edgar, Executive Director, Arizona Lottery, said, “On behalf of the Arizona Lottery, we gladly continue our work with Scientific Games. The Company has been instrumental in helping the Lottery maximize net revenue in a responsible manner to support Arizona programs for the public benefit. We look forward to more innovation coming to our instant product portfolio from Scientific Games.”

In addition to instant games and related services, Scientific Games also provides the Arizona Lottery with an advanced central gaming system and point-of-sale technology, which went live last September at retailers across the state, as well as licensed brands and a player loyalty program.

John Schulz, Senior Vice President of Instant Products for Scientific Games, said, “We remain dedicated to the Arizona Lottery to provide unique instant games for its players, and help the Lottery in its overall mission to provide fun while giving back.”

Since the Arizona Lottery’s inception in 1981, its players have helped raise more than $3.5 billion for programs and initiatives that enrich Arizonans’ lives, including education, health and human services, environmental conservation and economic development.

Scientific Games provides games, technology and services to more than 150 lotteries globally, including nearly every North American lottery.
