CLIVE, Iowa – Terry Rich’s re-appointment as CEO of the Iowa Lottery has been completed and he will continue to lead the organization for another four years.

The Iowa Senate voted 50-0 Wednesday to confirm Rich’s re-appointment. His current term as CEO ends April 30 and he now will serve another four-year term that begins May 1. Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad had nominated Rich for re-appointment on March 1, sending the nomination to the state Senate for its vote.

Rich has served as CEO of the Iowa Lottery since February 2009. During his first two terms at the lottery, he also served as president of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) in 2014-2015.
