Bede Gaming presented “The Safest Place to Play” for its Gold Sponsor presentation.

“Bede is six years old,” explained Michael Brady, Founder, Bede Gaming, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. “We have been transforming the delivery of digital platforms over that time. More relevantly, we work with land-based operators to help put digital at the heart of their strategy. The Rank Group PLC is one of our largest clients. They have casinos and bingo halls across the U.K. They migrated to Bede.”

Brady stressed that “it is critical to understand the culture of the digital supplier you engage. Ownership transparency and integrity of paramount. Many platform providers have worked in the black market. Bede has solely focused on regulated markets.”

“Many providers only give lip service to responsible gaming (RG). Customer protection must be a priority. Providers must be flexible enough to meet the rapidly changing RG regulations,” he added.

Many suppliers are facing radical changes. “Key considerations are scalability and focus. Numerous acquisitions strain resources,” said Brady. “If you are to place digital at the heart of your operation, you need an supplier who truly understands what that means. Bede has real world experience to migrating land-based operators to digital.”
Brady believes centralizing all verticals is at the top of a digital strategy.

“The Bede platform points all customer facing points. This leverages CSR and loyalty programs. The platform shows, knows and anticipates the customers’ wants—like Amazon for gaming,” he ended.
