National CineMedia (NCM) presented “Connect with Customers at Their Favorite Entertainment Destination: The Movies.”

Chris Aragon, NCM’s Sales Director, Local Sales, focused on the 2018 box office results, as well as 2019 upcoming movies. “Q4 is pacing to send 2018 domestic box office beyond $11.6 billion,” stated Aragon.

NCM is America’s movie network. “NCM is the connector between brands and moviegoers. Americans love animation, sequels and franchises,” he said.
He showed clips of upcoming movies. “Ten years ago, big movie releases were only in the summer. Now it is all year round,” said Aragan. “When people go to the movies, they are happy and engaged. That translates into high ad recall rates and ad likability (both 74%). Purchase intent is over 70%.”

NCM partners with lotteries across the United States, citing 17 lottery customers. NCM moviegoers overindex (120%) for playing any lottery game 11+ times.
Popular products include Mega Millions, Powerball and instant scratch tickets. “Moviegoers play lottery above index and have disposable income,” stated Aragon.

NCM is the #1 Millennial Network, outperforming broadcast prime, cable prime and live spots. “Three in four Millennials go to the movies,” he said.
NCM is a brand safe experience. “We guard our customers and brands with 1st party privacy policy, opt-in for location sharing,” stated Aragon.
