    Preliminary Agenda for La Fleur’s D.C. Conference Released

    La Fleur’s 2019 D.C. conference will be held May 13-16, 2019 at the Jack Morton Auditorium on the George Washington University campus. Attendees will stay at the Westin Georgetown Hotel. Earlybird registration rates end on Friday, March 2.

    The theme of our DC conference is “Lottery SHOCK.” The DOJ’s reversal of its 2011 opinion on the Wire Act has led to great uncertainty for the $86 billion U.S. lottery industry. A panel of experts will debate probable legal and regulatory outcomes. Our guest speakers include Mark Hichar, Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Keith Whyte, Executive Director, NCPG.

    The program will also examine courier delivery, sports betting, iLottery, cashless, in-lane and multi-jurisdictional programs.
