Summertime means garage sales, county fairs, paddle boarding, and road trips, and these are all themes that went into developing Loto-Québec’s summer 2022 lottery collection. Steeped in local traditions and the latest trends, these products are sure to bring some sunshine into Quebecer’s far-too-short summer season.

    Vente de garage (Garage Sale)

Every year, from early spring to late summer, garage sales abound throughout Québec. They are the perfect occasion to meet new people while sniffing out hidden treasures, and the new scratch ticket pays tribute to this tradition. And in the keeping with a brick n’ click approach, an online version called “Vente de garage Express” was also developed.
    • Cost: $3
    • Grand prizes: $15,000
    • Launch date: June 13 (scratch ticket and online game)

À la foire (At the Fair)

The fun-filled world of county fairs is the basis for À la foire. An online version of this ticket called “À la foire réaction” will be offered in the Instants section along side other chain reactor games. A festive summer is in the cards!
    • Cost: $3
    • Grand prizes: $10,000
    • Launch date: June 27 (online launch date to be determined)

    Passion pagaie (Paddle Board Thrills)

This ticket was developed in partnership with Québec-based business La Vague SUP, as paddle boarding becomes more and more popular among Quebecers. Up for grabs: one of 10 La Vague SUP paddle boards worth $1,000 each and one of 3 paddle board adventure packages worth $10,000. A multiplatform media campaign will be timed to coincide with the launch of this new product.
    • Cost: $2
    • Grand prizes: one of 3 paddle board adventure packages (or $10,000)
    • Secondary prizes: one of 10 Praò SUP paddle boards, made in Québec (or $1,000)
    • Launch date: July 11

    Carnet de vacances (Travel Diary)

Ah, summer vacation! Sunbathing on the beach, seaside motels, miniature golf… all timeless holiday memories. With Carnet de vacances, Loto-Québec will accompany tourists wherever their summer road trips may bring them. Six pages of games mean you can take your time to relax and enjoy the experience!

And to enable consumers to discover Loto-Québec’s resort complexes, 100 gift certificates, each good for $1,500 at Loto-Québec properties are up for grabs. This ticket’s retro theme will transport consumers to the days of holidays past.

A multi-platform campaign will be run in social media in support of the launch. A promotional video will also be broadcast at casinos.

    • Cost: $15
    • Grand prizes: $90,000
    • Secondary prizes: one of 100 gift certificates good for $1,500 at Loto-Québec-owned properties (prizes not exchangeable for cash)
    • Launch date: July 11
