TAXI has collaborated with Ontario Lottery Gaming (OLG) to launch a campaign for the Cash For Life instant lottery ticket. The commercials highlight the joy of small pleasures and financial stability, presenting humorous scenarios like buying a sports team that turns out to be a bowling team. The campaign aims to shift attention from millionaires to Thousandaires, emphasizing the satisfaction of embracing life’s little luxuries. The commercials will appear on various media platforms in the coming months.
OLG has also introduced a $10 Instant Living Lucky with Luke Combs lottery ticket, offering players a chance to win prizes including intimate music performances by country music star Luke Combs.
IGT Indiana, LLC, representing the State Lottery Commission of Indiana, has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking a vendor to provide 500 large digital jackpot signs for Hoosier Lottery retailers across Indiana. The selected vendor will enter into a contract with the Lottery outlining the terms and conditions of the purchase, including regulatory requirements. The contract will have a duration of about three years and may include optional extension years.

The Connecticut Lottery Board has initiated a search for a new CEO as Greg Smith, the current CEO, is set to retire at the end of 2024. While board members were informed about Smith’s plans months in advance, “Discussion of Executive Compensation and Succession Planning” was officially included in their public agenda in June. Rob Simmelkjaer, the board’s chair, clarified that Smith will continue as the CEO and that the vote doesn’t indicate an imminent departure. “He’s going to retire at the end of 2024. It’s a planned retirement,” Simmelkjaer said. “It was a technical thing. We had to make the executive committee the search committee.”
Tonje Sagstuen has been appointed as the interim CEO of Norsk Tipping, effective from September 1. This move comes after the resignation of Thor Gjermund Eriksen in June. Eriksen, who joined Norsk Tipping in April 2022, will step down on August 31 to join Bane NOR, the government agency responsible for Norway’s railway network. Sagstuen, who has been with Norsk Tipping since 2014 and currently serves as director for responsibility, society, and communications, will continue as the interim CEO until a permanent successor for Eriksen is appointed.
North Carolina’s latest scratch-off game, Lightning 7’s, offers players the opportunity to win by revealing a “seven” symbol or aligning three “seven” symbols in a row, column, or diagonal.
