With its latest ad campaign, the New Hampshire Lottery is simply reminding its players how good they have it when they live, work, and win in the Granite State. The New Hampshire Lottery’s new, comedic ad spot, “Tax Shark,” launches today, highlighting the tax benefits of just being a resident of the state and specifically, of playing and winning the lottery in New Hampshire—while poking a little friendly fun at its neighbor to the south.
“New Hampshire is the best place to play and WIN with millions in tax savings,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “Unlike other states, we’ve kept that Tax Shark at bay here in the Granite State—so save yourself millions and remember to purchase and play here in the 603!
“Our New Hampshire players are fortunate to live—and play—in such an amazing, beautiful state, with an exceptionally high quality of life and of course, no state income tax,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “With this new campaign, we are having some fun reminding our players how good they have it, especially when they live free and play—and win!”
The 30-second Tax Shark ad features an out-of-state lottery winner who quickly learns a large portion of her winnings are about to be “consumed” by the Tax Shark. The ad campaign is airing on WMUR-TV, streaming TV, and New Hampshire radio stations.
