    Analog Divergence: Jaime González-Mir

Jaime Gonzalez-Mir, VP Group Director at LatinWorks, focused on Analog Divergence.
He said this involves “digital companies or ideas presented in the real world in surprising and interesting ways . . . using traditional platforms in a non-traditional way to drive digital goals and social influence.”
As example, the “Netflix is a joke” campaign featured billboards in LA and NYC posted by the company to promote its new comedy programming. A similar campaign was how Nissan showed the dangers of texting while driving.
Applications for lotteries include corporate responsiblity (draw attention to charitable contributions), scratch tickets and draw games. Gonzalez-Mir said a call to action might be to project the Powerball logo in the sky when a mega jackpot is on the roll.
