Shirley Newman, Events Specialist at the D.C. Lottery, presented “Neighborhoods Campaign.”
“The goal was to develop a D.C. centric product that featured multiple scenes of iconic D.C. neighborhoods,” said Newman.
Each scene incorporated local landmarks and other iconography. “There are 130 neighborhoods in D.C. It was difficult to make it 12,” said Newman. “We’re asking the players to give us six other scenes. There are two second-chance drawings: $25,000 for collecting all 12 or the final drawing that gives the opportunity to enter to buy a home in D.C.”
Neighborhoods is indexing at 110 at the 12-week mark. “The commercials have received rave reviews,” said Newman. There are over 25,000 entries in the 2nd chance contest.
