The reopening date is not set for Maryland’s casinos and VLTs. “Maryland Lottery and Gaming is working closely with the state’s six casino operators to develop reopening plans that are focused on the safety of employees and patrons. Those plans will be reviewed and approved by the governor’s office and the medical and business experts who have assisted the governing in guiding the state’s response to the pandemic. While a reopening date has not yet been determined, we’re eager to get back to ‘normal’ as we balance what’s best for Maryland’s economy and what’s in the best interests of public health,” said Maryland Lottery & Gaming Director Gordon Medenica.
