Louisiana Lottery Corp. will launch terminal-based instant games in June, pending legislative approval. “We will offer games at the $1, $2, $3, $5 and $10 price points and will continue with new game launches on a regular basis,” said Quinn Dossett, VP, Marketing, Louisiana Lottery Corp.
The lottery is positioning these games as Fast Play games that offer “Fun in a Flash.” Dossett said “marketing efforts will include a teaser and launch multimedia advertising campaigns, including TV, radio, streaming services, out of home, print, social and point-of-sale.”
A teaser campaign will start in May. To build suspense, it will only reveal the new product’s name and logo design. “Since this is a new product line for us, an all-out blitz statewide, teasing the launch in June should garner lots of interest from our players who have been anxiously anticipating a new game option,” said Dossett. “And, of course, we plan to get our beloved mascots into the action to help at launch. We may even have a few new surprises to sprinkle in,” he said.
