The Hoosier Lottery has developed an impressive holiday campaign, with digital and retail elements to convince players to engage with them.
The lottery’s digital activation campaign is aimed at driving new myLOTTERY registrations and repeat engagement from current club members. “Themed ‘Lottery Lodge,’ this experience will demonstrate all the fun the Hoosier Lottery has to offer this holiday season through weekly challenges including chopping logs and zapping icicles,” Matt Cooper, Digital Manager, Hoosier Lottery said.
Players can also enter their non-winning $1, $2 and $5 Holiday Scratch-offs into a 2nd Chance promotion where five winners will each win $5,000.
The lottery’s retail campaign is also impressive. “We are lighting up retail this holiday season with a custom shopper journey which includes shopper marketing, outdoor and key account promotions that align with our campaign. We have several POS pieces to interrupt the shopper journey including a standee and ITVM Topper that will include flashing LED lights. Our retailers will have card envelopes that players are welcome to take to place Scratch-offs in to gift to others 18+,” Alison Baker, Retail Experience Manager, Hoosier Lottery said.
The lottery will also be doing in-person promotional events this year. “We will leverage the Christmas Gift and Hobby Show where we have sales booth setup at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall from November 10-14. The crowd is in the holiday spirit, which aligns perfectly to promote our Scratch-offs, holiday backdrop and prize pack and premium item giveaways,” Jason Mueller, Senior Manager of PR & Sponsorships, Hoosier Lottery said.
