    New Oklahoma App

The Oklahoma Lottery Commission will rollout a new app in spring 2022.

“We have in-house developers who are building out our new app with all the special features that we know are important to our players. We took a lot of time to think about how we wanted the app to function, what was important to our players, and what could really work for us for a long time,” said Abby Morgan, Director, Marketing & Advertising, Oklahoma Lottery.

It will include a Build Your Playslip feature. “We knew that we wanted to move on from the traditional play slips that we have used for so long and help modernize the experience,” said Morgan. “We hope this also appeals to new players and could be attractive to younger demographics. Keeping this feature simple and easy to use is our main priority. When the new app rolls out, we will also launch a new marketing campaign that highlights the new app, the great features we have enhanced or added and why players should utilize these features.”

The lottery wants to keep the app simple, easy to use and provide the elements that lottery players will utilize the most. “Ticket scanning, jackpot updates, entering promotions and ‘build a play slip’ will be the most used features within the app. And now that the app will be the exclusive method for entering into our promotions, we hope to see a large uptick in downloads for that reason as well,” said Morgan.
