Atlantic Lottery Corp. (ALC) launched eInstant games in May 2007. Since Pick’N Click’s launch, there has been relatively little change for this segment. This eInstant brand will be replaced by the Instant Wins brand in fall 2017. ALC’s iLottery game vendors are IGT and Instant Win Gaming (IWG).
“We are in the final stages of launching a new system,” said Amanda Nicol, Brand Manager, iLottery, Digital Products, ALC. “When that system is launched, we will be launching 20 Digital Instants from IWG.”
ALC is also planning on launching six mini games (only available within the iBingo game client). “After the first 26 are launched, we will continue to add two to three games every month until we hit 30-35 games. From there, we will start to remove games that are not performing well,” said Nicol.
Once the project is completed, ALC will be offering the following price points: $0.50, $1, $2, $3, $4, $5 and $10.
The plan is to launch two Digital Instants (Instant Wins) every month and a new Mini Game every second month.
Before the update, the average prize payout for Pick’N Click games was 59%. After the system update, the average prize payout for Instant Wins will be 65%.
Currently, ALC offers one base eInstant game (Crossword). With the new system, ALC will offer five base eInstant games—Crossword ($2), Super Crossword ($5), Set for Life ($4), Bingo ($2) and Instant Lotto 6/49 ($1). “We will continue to add base games to the category,” said Nicol.
In terms of licensed eInstant games, “once the new system is launched, we will have MONOPOLY and Big Money Slingo,” said Nicol.”
