INTRALOT and its U.S. subsidiary INTRALOT Inc., congratulate the Montana Lottery for the launch of Sports Bet Montana.

The Montana Lottery has been working toward launching sports betting since last May, when a bill bringing sports wagering to Montana and placing it with the Lottery was passed into law. The Lottery started accepting applications for locations to obtain sports wagering licenses in late 2019 while it was working on placing the regulatory framework and games rules that ensure responsible play in conjunction with a competitive content.

INTRALOT deployed in Montana its new INTRALOT Orion sports betting platform to enable the Montana Lottery’s sports wagering self-service terminals and mobile sports wagering offering. In addition, INTRALOT provides to the Montana Lottery a complete suite of services, such as Managed Trading and Marketing Services (MTMS) and Customer Support (CS).

“INTRALOT has technology innovation at the center of its strategy and is powered by a portfolio of next-generation solutions designed to deliver unparalleled and engaging player experiences while driving operational efficiencies for our lottery and gaming customers. I am looking forward to the successful operation of the new sports betting solution in Montana that will help the Lottery attract a new demographic of players and maximize sales growth,” said Dr. Chris Dimitriadis, INTRALOT Group CEO.

“The Montana Lottery, together with our partner INTRALOT, worked hard to build a sports betting product Montanans would support. Our lottery supports our state and helps our retailers build successful businesses, all while giving Montanans winning experiences. We’re excited to see Sports Bet Montana take off,” said Angela Wong, Director of the Montana Lottery.

“It’s an exciting time for the Montana Lottery,” said Byron Boothe, INTRALOT US Interim CEO. “With the introduction of legalized sports wagering under the Lottery, INTRALOT will leverage its world-class resources and technology to provide the best-possible sports betting experience for Montanans. Most importantly, we are excited to provide the Montana Lottery with a complete solution to maximize sports wagering revenues and return to the state’s general fund and to the school scholarship fund for science and technology learning.”

The Montana Lottery was created by referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $590 million in prizes and returned approximately $259 million to the State of Montana.

INTRALOT, a public listed company established in 1992, is a leading gaming solutions supplier and operator active in 44 regulated jurisdictions around the globe.
