“Ignite More Wins!” is the slogan for the new Fireball advertising campaign introduced by South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL).
This is a major enhancement for the daily numbers product line. “We have not enhanced Pick 3 and Pick 4, except for Front Pair and Back Pair, since inception in 2002. We felt it was overdue to give back to our loyal daily players,” said Ammie Smith, Director, Product Development, SCEL.
SCEL is seeing strong numbers for the first two weeks, with no cannibalization to the base games. “We have a 5% cumulative increase over current year’s prior weeks’ sales and 7.5% cumulative increase over prior year’s same week sales,” said Smith.
Currently, SCEL is averaging about $700,000 per week or 13 cents per capita. “We would love for this to continue to rise. However we feel sure it will settle in and follow the same trend line with peaks when popular numbers hit,” said Smith.
