To ignite the fire, the lottery focused on retail, digital and app promotions. To stoke the fire, “we continued with all the messaging but switched out for launch messaging and added POS, a statewide player promotion, promotions at selling events and some live reads,” said Terrell.
Fireball sales are hot, exceeding sales projections. Current sales as of 11/02/19 are $17.97 million. To keep the fire burning, “we kept our focus on Fireball this fall, with a clerk voucher promotion, a focus at the State Fair and continue to message our players and retailers about Fireball,” said Terrell.
