Nathalie Rajotte, Corporate Director, Strategy, Innovation & Business Intelligence at Loto-Québec, discussed “Entertainment Games: A Strategic Territory for Innovation.”

“We are inclined to consider our industry as very specific to the game of chance and money,” said Rajotte. “We often forget that our commercial territory is part of a larger territory, that of the entertainment games. We are familiar with the parameters behind the design of lottery games and the customers they are currently addressing. Taking a look at what defines the entertainment game markets allows us to glimpse new possibilities. Here’s how a lottery can build bridges with these markets to take advantage of these opportunities.”

Rajotte offered examples of how lotteries can work with esports and board game communities. “Let us be interested in them,” she said. “They will become interested in us.”
