Joey Cormier, Director of Marketing, iLottery, Atlantic Lottery Corp. (ALC) spoke about evolving and adapting the lottery.

“Survival of the fittest”—a term coined by Charles Darwin—was the inspiration behind ALC’s innovation initiative to modernize its iGaming platform. Many systems ALC put in place in 2004, when they originally launched iGaming, were still being used. The core of the“Darwin” project, launched in September 2017, was “to modernize many of our systems,” Cormier said.

To improve the user experience, ALC focused on a mobile first design. They launched new products like digital instants. ALC also added new features like a shopping cart, additional RG features, lottery subscriptions, new customer management systems and account management options.
